It might come as a surprise to you. but Colombian cuisine isn't typically known for its spiciness. Well that is about to change!
In our tradition of mixing cuisines (I mean, we put maple syrup in in our Canadian arepas!) comes a new flavour in our Picanto arepas. Using fresh, chopped jalapeno peppers in the dough and stuffed with a blend of "nacho" cheese, these have just a hint of heat along with the delicious taste experience that is brought out when jalapeno peppers are grilled.
